this FREE series of in-store events featuring our favorite flavors and neighborhood inspirations.
every few weeks we host a party in the store and allow the public to join us in the kitchen to sample
the flavor of the day that we'll be making into soaps, scrubs and all natural lip balms.
*we reserve the right to refuse attendance to anyone


mad hatter's tea party
Saturday march 13th:
12:00PM to 2:00 PM - no charge
AGES 4 and up WELCOME
each year we celebrate the onset of spring with a mad soap making party inspired by the teas we love. join us for a few hours of testing, tasting, sipping and laughter as we create our early spring soap collection. on the menu for 2010:

white tea with acai - bright and tart, the acai berry is loaded with natural antioxidants. we brew up a batch of shea butter soap and toss in juicy, berry laced discs of colorful olive oil soap

orange pekoe with lavender + lemon -
sarah's lemon lavender cookies go so well with a fresh pot of prange pekoe, a tea that reminds me of my childhood and mom's iced tea. all are blended into a delightful, fresh shea butter soap

white tea with peony - last year the kids enjoyed making this soap more than tasting the tea. our coconut base soap steeped with young white tea leaves and graced with various colored soap petals

green tea with coconut + lime - one of my all time favorites, we brew green tea with coconut milk and lime oils to create a moisture intensive shea butter soap that puts the lime int the coconut
