duross & langel hand cut bars begin as fruit and nut oils blended with NaOH (sodium hydroxide). the original recipes that inspired us belonged to steve's grandmother. over the years we've utilized modern technology to improve the bars, and to make them the most gentle vegan soaps. though the initial saponification is no longer batched on-site, our recipes are still made by hand, cooked under enormous pressure and then clarified, and allowed to cure for months. eventually the soap is ribboned and blended, heated and cooled so that it can cure once again. when micro-batching, extracts and essential oils are added, and transformed into the eye popping colorful bars we sell. with a new old recipe and a bit of artistic style, we present to you a creamy bar that will maintain your skin’s natural moisture levels. if you keep our bars dry between use, they will last and last. each duross + langel hand cut bar weighs each bar weighs approximately 6 oz. and comes packed in an earth-friendly biodegradable glassine bag with descriptive label.
